MEDALLA LIGHT | INSTRUMENTS OF RESILIENCE

Medalla Light is the Island’s leading local beer. For years, they’ve brought people together through music, by being the Island’s biggest sponsor of musical events. After hurricane María hit the Island, Medalla Light decided to lift people’s spirits through the healing power of music by transforming fallen trees into Puerto Rico’s iconic instruments. These were then used by the local band Orquesta el Macabeo to create an original song and music video documenting the process of making these instruments. These instruments were then passed for other local artists’s performances
